Laser Liposuction

& Fat Transfer for the Face

Laser Liposuction with BeautiFill

South Carolina Surgical is proud to offer a complete solution for optimal facial contouring. Our new laser assisted liposuction system, known as BeautiFill allows us to extract viable fat cells quickly and easily. It even offers the option of immediate grafting through a seamless integration if you’re interested in facial fat transfer options.

What makes our system unique is that it offers simultaneous lasing and suction. This unique interface
allows our medical staff to pass through the tissue more easily and remove fat cells quickly and efficiently.

As laser energy is delivered to the tissue, the laser cauterizes blood vessels rather than causing them to rupture as with mechanical liposuction. This minimizes bleeding, swelling and body trauma such as hematomas, edema and bruising as well as minimizing postoperative pain.

Skin Tightening Benefits

In addition to achieving effective lipolysis, the thermal energy generated by our laser contracts existing collagen and elastin fibers in your face and stimulates the formation of new collagen for firmer, tighter-looking skin. This is particularly important for delicate areas such as the face and neck as well as for areas of cellulite.

In effect, our laser liposuction system targets fat cells precisely at their source within the underlying structural tissue. Laser energy is directed beneath the skin, separating the skin from adipose tissue, effectively breaking up pockets of fat cells and restructuring the skin for a smoother appearance.

Facial Fat Transfer

If you have considered undergoing a facial rejuvenation procedure but don’t think you’re ready for a face lift or other form of facial plastic surgery, you may wish to investigate facial fat injections. This injection method of facial fat sculpting, can restore attractive contours to your cheeks, chin, and under-eye area, and add volume to your lips.

What does it mean to have “fat transfer” for facial sculpting?

Fat transfer is a procedure in which an individual’s own body fat is used to plump up sunken or drooping areas of the face. The procedure can add volume where desired. The word “autologous” simply refers to the use of one’s own tissues or fat which is why the technical name for the procedure is Autologous Fat Transfer. Because the patient’s own fat is used, autologous fat transfer requires three steps.

  1. The first step involves the gentle liposuction of some excess fat (such as that found in the jowls, abdomen, thighs, or buttocks).
  2. The second step involves the isolation and cleansing of the fat cells.
  3. The third and final step involves the injection of the fat cells into the targeted facial areas (i.e., the fat cell transplantation).

Our all-new BeautiFill system from Alma Laser’s LipoLife offers simultaneous lasing and suction to create a one-step process which significantly reduces the amount of physical effort required to perform liposuction procedures. The mechanism simplifies the procedure, reduces total treatment time compared to other energy-based techniques and achieves optimal clinical results with reduced patient downtime.

BeautiFill™ is the first laser-based fat transfer technology to standardize the process, time and quality of fat transfer methods with the least amount of adipose disruption.

BeautiFill’s closed-loop fat transfer capabilities combine laser, aspiration and processing into one simple step that greatly simplifies the procedure from the patient perspective. This reduces procedure time while optimizing the entire fat transfer process. Our system’s high vitality fat collection permits successful, immediate fat grafting.
